I mentioned before how I use sketchbooks as a testing ground, rather than a place to put polished art. Today I decided to go back to a few concepts and fiddle with them more. It’s been a long time since I’ve used gouache, so there are a few areas that I kind of gave up on, but overall I’m pleased. debated using ink for the outlines, and I kind of wish I had, because it was difficult to get the gouache consistent for that bit. I think of all of it, the sky is probably my favourite.
