First attempt at the portrait I later did in watercolour. I was using cheap paint that wound up being weirdly transient, and a lot of it wound up getting lifted off when I tried to put a wash on top of it. I have never had that happen before, and I have no idea which paints I was using at the time cuz I didn’t make a note of it.
